DELF exam dates 2027 in Hong Kong: sessions, registration and fees
The DELF exam dates 2027 in Hong Kong were not yet published on 26 October 2026. The Alliance Française de Hong Kong — the only accredited DELF-DALF centre in Hong Kong — held adult sessions in March, April and November 2026; the next exam is the DELF Junior on 1–8 December 2026, with registration open until 30 October. You book online on afhongkong.org or at the Jordan, Shatin or Wanchai reception.

The 2026 sessions, and 2027
The adult sessions are held over several days, each level with its own written-paper day; A1, A2 and B1 may be held in a single day, depending on numbers. The 2027 dates had not been published on 26 October 2026; in 2026 the pattern was a spring split into two sessions and an autumn session for every level.

DELF Junior and the HKDSE
Secondary-school students (12 to 18) take the DELF Junior. It is the official language examination for French as a Category C subject of the HKDSE: you need a DELF A2 or above taken within the two years before your HKDSE — for 2027 candidates, in 2025 or 2026. The December 2026 session is the last junior session of 2026.

The May 2026 junior session had its written papers on 5, 6, 7 and 12 May. Primary-school pupils (7 to 11) take the DELF Prim.

How to register
The adult DELF-DALF is designed for adults, with no age limit for the general public. Register online with the “Register” button of your level while the session is open, or at the reception of any of the three centres — Jordan, Shatin or Wanchai. Your registration is valid only once you have the Alliance’s confirmation e-mail; an exam notice follows about ten days before the exam. Fees are neither refundable nor transferable, so check that you are free on every day of your level. Macao has its own approved centre, the Alliance française de Macao (France Éducation international’s list, 26 October 2026).
Results and diplomas
Every paper is double-marked by two independent examiners and checked by the DELF-DALF jury of Hong Kong and Macau. Results are sent by e-mail about ten weeks after the exam. The diploma, issued by the French Ministry of Education, takes about four more months; you collect it at the Jordan centre, or have it sent by courier at your own cost.
Preparing while you wait for the dates
The exam itself does not change from one country to another: in Hong Kong as in France, the DELF A1 to B2 and the DALF C1 have four sections scored out of 25, you pass with 50/100, and a score below 5/25 in any one section fails you; the diploma is issued by the French Ministry of Education and is valid for life.
