Booking the January–March 2027 sessions
The Alliance française de Toronto sells the TCF Canada only online: you create an account on its booking platform beforehand, then, when registration opens, choose a date — computer-based (E-TCF Canada) or paper-based (P-TCF Canada) — fill in a questionnaire and pay. For January to March 2027, that is 1 December 2026 at 10 am; the next openings are 2 March, 20 May and 17 August 2027. Log in before 10 am with your passport at hand: “If a session is not listed, it is full”, and “There is no waiting list for fully booked sessions”. You may hold only one registration at a time across the four campuses. Refunds are “not possible under any circumstances”; a transfer costs $100 and must be asked at least 15 days before a computer session, 30 days before a paper one. Results arrive by email two weeks after a computer-based test, four weeks after a paper one. Questions about dates go to toronto.exam@alliance-francaise.ca.
GB Language Centre, 716 Gordon Baker Road in North York, sells its TCF Canada sessions on its own website for $452. If you can travel, the Alliance Française Ottawa ($400) had a computer-based session open on 10 November 2026, and New Brunswick ($390) had weekend dates until 20 December: see TCF Canada in Ontario and New Brunswick.
How to book the TCF Canada in Toronto
In Canada, each centre handles its own registrations online, on its own website, with the passport you’ll use for your IRCC application. Registration is final, and cancelling costs money: the Alliance Française de Montréal keeps $75 if you cancel more than 15 days ahead, and refunds nothing after that. In the big cities, sessions fill up within minutes: create your account in advance and log in the moment registration opens. Allow at least 20 days between two attempts, whichever centre you test at. Results arrive by email within 2 to 4 weeks and are valid for two years. On test day, bring a valid passport and your printed test-day notice (admission letter).

An organization that is not on this list is not approved.

You pay the full fee for each session, and you can’t retake the test right away. The mock exams in the “TCF DELF TEF: Tests 2026” app follow the official format of each test — TCF Canada, TCF Québec, TCF IRN — scored like the real thing, with AI feedback on writing and speaking.
