Where to get the dates
France Éducation international’s list of approved centres (26 October 2026) names the cultural cooperation service of the French Embassy in Antananarivo as Madagascar’s DELF-DALF body. The Alliances’ network website given in that list, alliancefr.mg, could not be reached on 26 October 2026, so the most reliable way to get the 2027 dates, the fees and the registration window is to ask the Alliance française where you want to sit the exam — in the capital, the Alliance française d’Antananarivo in Andavamamba (+261 34 80 119 95).

Preparing while you wait for the dates
The exam itself does not change from one country to another: in Madagascar as in France, the DELF A1 to B2 and the DALF C1 have four sections scored out of 25, you pass with 50/100, and a score below 5/25 in any one section fails you; the diploma is issued by the French Ministry of Education and is valid for life. France Éducation international publishes free official sample papers — DELF B2, DELF B1, DALF C1 — with the answer keys, the listening recordings and the marking grids. Our guides, in English: the DELF B2 practice test, with answers, the DELF B2, the DELF B1 and the DALF C1 and C2; for France’s own calendar and the other countries, DELF exam dates 2027.
Practise on the real format
You pay the full fee for each session, and you can’t retake the test right away. The mock exams in the “TCF DELF TEF: Tests 2026” app follow the official format of each test — TCF Canada, TEF Canada, DELF, DALF — scored like the real thing, with AI feedback on writing and speaking.
