Getting a seat in San Diego
The Alliance publishes its sessions in a table on its TCF Canada page, with a registration window for each: the November 4 and 10 sessions opened on July 13, 2026 and were sold out by mid-October. Written test and oral take place on the same day — for November, written 8:40 am to 12 pm, oral 12:30 to 2 pm — at the Alliance, «in person only». If a session is full, join the waitlist from the page, and watch for the next sessions, not yet published on October 18. In the meantime, the Alliance Française de Los Angeles listed November 20, December 18 and monthly 2027 dates; its official site is afsandiego.org — afsd.org is a parked page, not the Alliance.
The approved TCF center in San Diego
How to read this list. It reproduces the official list of test centers approved by France Éducation international (FEI), read on October 8, 2026: name, address, phone, generic email and website as FEI publishes them; where the listed website no longer works or has moved, we give the one we opened that day. “Computer-based”: FEI lists the center as offering computer sessions; “paper-based”: FEI lists no computer sessions. The “TCF Canada” badges come from our check of each center’s website on 18 October 2026. An organization that is not on this list is not approved.

The center gives you the date; the score is up to you
You pay the full fee for each session, and you can’t retake the test right away. The mock exams in the “TCF DELF TEF: Tests 2026” app follow the official format of each test — TCF Canada, TCF Québec, TCF IRN — scored like the real thing, with AI feedback on writing and speaking.
